The final of the national anti-bullying music competition will be held at the Barcode, Weston-super-Mare on the 20th November 2006. The winner will be presented with their award and prize at the national anti-bullying conference for young people on the 21st November at the Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare

The winner will receive a cash prize of 250, have their song put on to CD and have a chance to perform it live at the international Conference audience in Anti-Bullying Week. The other finalists will also have the chance to have their song recorded on to the CD.

How to get involved. You need to enter your local anti-bullying music competition, all of which will be held around the country during the summer and autiumn of 2006 (contact us for details of your local event).

If you win your regional event you will be put forward to the national finals on the 20th November 2006

There will be 14 finalsists (Max) contesting on the 20th November. The winner will be chosen that evening. They will perform the following day (21st) at the national Conference audience and be presented with their prize.

Exception: If your region does not hold its own anti-bullying music competition then you may be eligible to enter the national finals as long as there are no other entries from your region. The regions are: South West England, South England, South East England, West Midlands, Yorkshire, North East England, North England and North West England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and the rest of the world

  • Entry is for anyone under the age of 18 years of age (on the 21st November)
  • Only one finalist from each region may be entered
  • The entry must be an original song/rap
  • No payment will be made to any of the entrants or winners apart from the first prize
  • Entrants agree to the Conference organisers recording their rap/song and to the taking of publicity photos for promotional purposes
  • There is no entry fee
  • Entrants must have parental permission to participate

The finals will be held at the I Power I National Anti-Bullying Conference For Young People 2006. This event is being held on the 20th and 21st November 2006 at the Winter Gardens in Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset, South-West England, in anti-bullying week.
